As lockdown restrictions continue to ease, so has the possibility to travel with ease across the country. The move to Alert level 2 made it possible for interprovincial travel – for leisure to resume in South Africa.
It has been widely reported that the tourism sector has taken a knock on the restrictions that were imposed. The further re-opening of the economy under lockdown level 1 has brought back much-needed hope to many small tourism businesses, this also making it possible for Heritage Sites in the country to be fully open to visitors.
