18 February- The 7th annual Nedbank Cup – the premier knockout soccer competition in South Africa – has launched with Nedbank re-affirming its ongoing commitment to all areas of soccer development in South Africa.
Known as South Africa’s own FA Cup, the tournament’s David vs Goliath theme sees Mzansi’s amateur teams to take their shot at soccer glory by tackling the giants of the PSL.
As before, amateur soccer players from all walks of South African life will be called upon to try out for the Ke Yona team that will eventually take on the Nedbank Cup winners.
The Nedbank Cup will also continue to benefit schools and communities around the country.
