CORONAVIRUS: Your daily update

South Africa has recorded 6 041 new coronavirus cases bringing the total number of cases to 1 423 578.  In a statement released on Tuesday evening, the Health Department has also reported 680 more COVID-19 related deaths.

SAHPRA approves controlled use of Ivermectin to treat COVID-19

SAHPRA says it will give more details about the controlled use of Ivermectin in South Africa.

SAHPRA says it will facilitate an access programme for the drug, known to be used in the treatment of parasites in animals.
