Eskom says it will continue with stage three load shedding until four PM on Sunday. This after the power utility planned to implement Stage 4 load shedding from Saturday at four in the afternoon until five AM on Sunday.
Eskom spokesperson Aubrey Sambo says there is a slight improvement in generation capacity.
“The recovery of emergency reserves for the week ahead has enabled Eskom not to implement Stage 4 load shedding from 16:00 today as previous communicated. Stage 3 load shedding will remain in place until 16:00 on Sunday when Stage 4 load shedding will be implemented. Eskom will closely monitor the power system and communicate any changes should it be required.”
