Members of the family of the newly-crowned Miss SA have expressed their appreciation to all South Africans for their well wishes and the love they have shown to their daughter. Zozibini Tunzi was crowned on Friday evening.
She was born at Sidwadweni village outside Tsolo and furthered her primary education in Dutywa in the Eastern Cape. Miss South Africa’s father Lungisa Tunzi says he could not believe it when he got a call from the organisers of the beauty pageant.
“I was surprized when I was told by the organizers of South Africa that Look as from today, we know that this is your child but we are going to demand her in many cases and please allow us for that and I said no if it is God’s willing and then let it be because I cannot hold her because she chose that and we are giving her a support and we appreciate her effort. What I preach to my children is education,” says Lungisa Tunzi.
