Sanco president Richard Mdakane says this is the beginning of the renewal of the ANC.

Mdakane says 2018 brings hope for unity in the tripartite alliance as the stakes are high in the 2019 presidential elections.
“This celebration should encourage to reconnect with the masses of our people to reconnect. Sanco recognises the achievement of the ANC in bringing out better lives. Sanco calls upon our people to unite behind the ANC vision of advancing people’s power and to be part of the renewal programmes and to ensure that the ANC remains responsive and to the needs of our people.”
Meanwhile, President Jacob Zuma and his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta are in attendance at the Buffalo stadium in East London where the ANC is celebrating its 106th anniversary.
