Chilean President Michelle Bachelet delivered the 12th Nelson Mandela Lecture on Women’s Day in Cape Town South Africa. This was be the first Nelson Mandela Lecture to be delivered since his death in December 2013.
The Lecture, themed “Building social cohesion through active citizenship”, includes dialogue on gender equality and focus on finding ways to develop and improve citizenship.
