Zuma has criticised Kenyan leaders for failing to stop political turmoil
|
January 23, 2008, 11:15
ANC President Jacob Zuma is attending the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The five-day gathering is expected to give strategic insight, ideas and solutions to confront political, economic and social challenges in 2008. The Institute for Global Dialogue's Brendan Vickers says Zuma will probably assure the meeting that South Africa is a reliable partner.
“I think he will probably try to reassure delegates and investors about his economic credentials, the ANC economic credentials and also that South Africa is a reliable partner in the global economy. He will probably bring out strongly the Nepad Africa issues of marketing of South Africa and Africa for the future,” said Vickers.
