Moroka Swallows easily beat struggling AmaZulu 2-0 in a fast and entertaining Absa Premiership game played at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
The Dube Birds led 1-0 at halftime.
The visitors could have easily been 3-0 up at halftime after Japhet Zwane missed a sitter in the 20th minute and then on 45 minutes Mark Hoskins missed another when he failed to beat AmaZuku goalkeeper Kalililo Kakonje.
Swallows did open the scoring in the 46th minute through Bavan Fransman. They increased their lead in the 68th minute via a penalty taken by Sandile Ndlovu.
Swallows were awarded the spot kick after Menzi Ndlovu brought down Evan Gwekwerere inside the box. - Sapa
