The race is on for this year's Sports Star of the Year Award. Makhaya Ntini, the Protea cricketer and 2005 award winner, Roland Schoeman, the swimming sensation, LJ van Zyl, the 400 metres hurdles star and Oscar Pistorius, the disabled sprint world record breaker are all in line to be honoured by public vote, at the SA Sports Awards at the Theatre on the Track, Midrand on November 30.
The SA Sports Awards is a partnership between Sport Recreation SA, the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee as well as SABC Sport. On the evening The Sports Awards will be broadcast on live on SABC 2 and SABC Radio.
