"
Power Crash" - Viewers'

Why isnt government doing anything
about illegal connecting and use of
electricity. eskom must own up and wake
up!
Dis cuntry needs 2 fastrack skills dev
much faster. Bout losin skils due 2
emigratn BEE is not da main rsn. CRIME is
da main factor drivin ppl away!
I spent 17 years in the organisation (ESKOM).
Ten years ago it became clear that
sweeping changes in the group were based
on political rather than practical
criteria and i left with thousands of
other sidelined professionals to earn our
worth elsewhere in the world. A great gift
from Eskom to international industry.
it's very revealing of gross negligence by
the government, on making adequate
provision of growth in the power network.
We are heading for a glum future in
respect of power distribution, with more
power outages, in future.
one element which was glaringly omitted
and which would bring the whole country to
a standstill is - online communication!
The mind boggles when envisaging a country
left without computers in operation -
imagine the chaos in every office; no
access to banking; lifts stranded inmulti-storey
buildings; airline scheduling/operation
out of control; no e-mail!!!!; hospital
patients without life-support systems ...
the list is endless... and the powers that
be haven't come close to understanding the
enormity of legal action in the wake of
loss of business/profits for the country.
