" No Room for The Poor" - Viewers' Comments

This government has left its people stranded. I approve of the evictions only with a stable migration plan for them.

seems as if the entire social services system has lost the definition of the word humanity

There is no use for those buildings, let them stay. Use the people who stays there and use them to upgrade the building.

The San Jose people are keeping their building in a good condition why do the goverment want to evict them. These people are working together to keep it safe and clean! Leave them!

govt should apply tax levy to every tax payer earning over 7000. Rand per month to assist the poor with housing

I feel bad 4 the people in the programe. I pay R2500/month 4 my flat and struggle 4 the rest of the month. I think more low cost accomodation is needed urgently. I would rather pay high price 4 rent than have 2 live like that! Eye opener!

We dont want to hear about about how the government plans to improve the infrastructure of the metro area. We want to hear how the government plans to implement the promises made over a decade ago to the poorest people of our country. It seems the Capitalist cow keeps getting fatter, while the people of South Africa are left to rot.

more innovation plans like europe hotel, yet the metro must not tax the prop if renovated and kept in good condition, but the poor must try to innovate income

This is a serious indictment to our policymakers. How does government continue to allow these provincial governments return money to the treasury each year. This is money meant to guarantee safe housing, clean water, electricity, job creation and medical care to the same group of people we saw on televition last night.
