I GREW UP IN BERTRAMS, HAD THAT BEEN MY PARENTS HOME, WOULD DO THE SAME, AS ALL CHANGED IN 94,PEOPLE WERE NOT TAUGHT THAT DEM. IS NOT MEANT U DO & TAKE AS U WANT!

That guy is a shameless racist whining over lost colonhal glory. Thieves exist in Portugal too.

Excellent topic, very important for most families today.

Almal in die land moet net respek he vir die man, te minste het hy die "guts" om sy se te se en nie net hoop die probleem gaan weg nie.

tino is a crank

he could get over it by now!

I totally agree with tino and see what he is about. He has stood his ground and has a valid point.

about time somebody started 2 do something.

the guy not wanting 2 sel house is a hoarder and does not know it

In some ways he is right. The house as it stands is a monument to democracy. But he is also suffering from denial and I feel for him.

as south africans we complain bout there bein a shortage of housin u c this & think wat a waste of a life a beautiful house & a neighbourhood

Tino has made his point. Time to move on now!

The Bez Valley program an outstanding example of fine TV journalism I thought.

What a waste of time giving an obsessed racist so much exposure. Poor reporting, typical of the SA media.

The inner city council need to realise the problem and make the neighbor hood safer

As a proud young South African it is my opinion that Tino shuld look at DEMOCRACY in for what it is - PROGRESS. He should clean up the house and make it Proudly South African. He can then gain support 4 his cause with the support of ALL his neighbours.

All South - Africans who worked to get somewhere in life , are living in terrible fear in their own houses , a place where we should feel at our safest. It is a shame that we must live in home-jails to keep criminals out!
