Residents of Boons near Koster in North West say they have also been attacked by a pack of dogs that mauled an eight-year-old boy to death this week.
Nomonde Rasmeni, North West MEC for Safety and Liason, has appealed to anyone who's been attacked by the dogs to report to the local police. Schoolboy Richard Sonnekus was attacked and killed by the dogs after stepping off a school bus.
The owner of the dogs, Louis Pienaar, was granted R2 000 bail yesterday after appearing on a charge of culpable homicide.
