Three people have been killed in a road accident on the N6 near Rouxville in the southern Free State. Apparently the vehicle they were travelling in hit the back of a moving truck.
It is alleged that the truck did not stop at the scene. Police have called to anyone who might have seen the accident to report to the nearest police station.
Meanwhile, in Mpumalanga police have opened a case of culpable homicide against the drivers of vehicles that caused an accident that claimed four lives and left 15 people injured. The accident happened yesterday on the Schoemanskloof road of the N4 Toll road near Nelspruit.
Police spokesperson Malcom Mokomeni says the accident involved a bakkie, a bus and a minibus taxi.
