Mpofu threatens to take SABC to court

SABC CEO Dali Mpofu has been suspended with full pay

SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago has confirmed that suspended Group CEO Dali Mpofu has threatened to take legal action against the board.

Mpofu has sent a letter from his lawyer to the chairperson of the Board, Khanyisile Mkhonza, and Acting CEO Gab Mampone.

Mpofu was suspended pending an investigation a day after he had suspended news Chief Snuki Zikalala.

Kganyago says they are waiting to see whether Mpofu will take the matter to court.
