SABC launches news agency in Sandton

Current Affairs content will now be available for sale to local and international clients

SABC News and Current Affairs content will now be available for sale to local and international clients. This was announced at the launch of the SABC News Agency in Sandton, north of Johannesburg.

Clients will be able to purchase downloads or CDs of the latest news from radio and TV coverage.

Speaking at his first public address as the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of the SABC, Gabriel Mampone said he was confident there was a need for a service of this nature which provides News with a strong African perspective.
