Water cuts scheduled for Soweto, Linden

Water will be cut on May 13 and 14 in Soweto and Linden, Johannesburg Water said today.

Johannesburg Water spokesperson Tebatso Matsimela said on May 13 the water supply to Meadowlands Zone 9 would be cut from 8am until 7pm for maintenance.

He says four areas in Linden -- Darren Wood, Cresta, Blairgowrie and Robin Hill -- would be subject to water supply disruptions from 9pm until 5am on May 14, for the installation of a flow meter, a device to control the flow of water. - Sapa
