Leaders of South Africa's Muslim community and interfaith groups will be gathering in Khayelitsha on the Cape Flats tomorrow to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.
The celebrations will look at many aspects of the Prophet's life, including his role as a statesmen, politician, father and God-fearing personality.
The celebrations also aim to strengthen ties between Islam and other faiths. Western Cape Premier, Ebrahim Rasool and Minister in the Presidency, Essop Pahad, are expected to attend the celebrations.
