The Sanlam SA Fashion Week, which runs from March 14-15, will stage some of South Africa's best designers Autumn/Winter Collections at Museum Africa in Newtown. In August they will showcase the stages the Spring/Summer Collections.
The Sanlam SA Fashion Week Designer Collections is an independent platform modelled on international best practice in terms of production values and format, with shows accommodating no more than 550 guests at a time. As such it provides local designers with a highly professional environment in which to launch their seasonal ranges to key stakeholders such as the media, professional buyers, independent retailers, existing and potential private clients.
Some of the designers to strut their stuff on the catwalk include Grape Juice, De Mil, Brendan Sturrock, Tiaan Nagel, Abigail Betz, Story and Clive Rundle.
