The missing Cessna 210 aircraft that disappeared on the 26th of December in the Baviaanskloof in the Eastern Cape has been found.
Police spokesperson John Fobian says the crew of a private helicopter hired by the family found the burnt out wreck with the body of Pretoria pilot Dirk Booysen inside.
It was found in dense bushes in a kloof beneath a mountain it apparently crashed into on Matjiesfontein farm.
Fobian says the farm is in the vicinity of Uniondale close to the border between the Eastern and Western Cape. The aircraft disappeared in bad weather en route from Pretoria to Jeffrey's Bay with only the pilot on board.
