Metrorail trains in Gauteng have been delayed as a result of heavy storms this morning. The storms have also caused power outages in some Metrorail networks.
Metrorail spokesperson, Sibusiso Ngomane, says they are experiencing technical difficulties as railway tracks have been flooded. However technicians are working on the problem to ensure that the services revert back to normal.
"We are appealing to all our commuters to be patient and the problem is being addressed," says Ngomane.
