North West police are still withholding details of the mauling to death of a man by nine lions at a lodge near Swartruggens.
Police say nothing has come out of their investigations so far. The name of the deceased, the name of the farm, and of its owners are still being kept secret.
This is the second such incident in North West in less than four months, after a nine year old boy was killed by lions at a farm near Tosca in September last year.
MEC for Agriculture, Conservation and the Environment, Jan Serfontein say they will await the outcome of the police investigation.
