Shilowa says more still needs to be done to address the HIV/Aids pandemic
|
August 10, 2007, 05:00
Mbazima Shilowa, the Gauteng premier, has fuelled the Pretoria versus Tshwane name debate, saying no court case will change the fact that Pretoria is the city of Tshwane.
The name change battle intensified this week after the Tshwane Metro said it planned to change all Pretoria's road signs to Tshwane.
Opposition parties say Pallo Jordan, the arts and culture minister, has yet to announce the official name of the capital. Shilowa insists Pretoria is only a suburb of Tshwane.
