It has been revealed that two other cases of alleged racism by Reitz students were reported to management at the University of the Free State (UFS) in the month of February.
These incidents happened a few days before the alleged racist video - also from the Reitz men's hostel - hit the headlines.
In one of the new incidents, a female student was allegedly chased around by naked white male students at Reitz. She was also allegedly called the K word and had mayonnaise poured over her.
In a second incident, a male student was also allegedly beaten up by Reitz students. The names of the two victims are known to the SABC.
One of the students, who was allegedly victimised, says: "It was traumatising because we stay on campus and we still feel that we have to be safe. So I wrote a letter to Dr Luyt but she didn't respond… This thing has to be taken further because… both whites and blacks… have to be treated in the same way..."
The Dean of Student Affairs, Natie Luyt, says the second incident is being investigated. "In this particular case, I received a complaint. I referred it to security. They are in a process of investigating it. I always tell students to make it easier when they have a complaint to supply us with the Ws -- who, where, when and what.
"(We) have to do a thorough job and… we didn't have enough personnel. We only have about two investigating officers. So it takes a while."
