The former head of Fidentia, J. Arthur Brown, is likely to spend tonight in the Milnerton Medi- Clinic after he was allegedly assaulted by prisoners.
His lawyer, William Booth, says his client was examined by a doctor in Cape Town. According to Booth, Brown was assaulted after leaving the Cape Town Magistrate's Court en route to Pollsmoor prison. He suffered bruises to his face.
