Brown's wife is now sought by the NPA
|
May 12, 2008, 17:45
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is investigating ways of securing the arrest of the wife of former Fidentia boss J. Arthur Brown. Susan Brown left the country for Australia last month.
Brown appeared in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court today on new charges of theft, money laundering and fraud. It transpired in court that the state had secured a warrant of arrest against the couple early last month.
NPA spokesperson Tlali Tlali says they are probing why Susan Brown left the country given that she knew about the warrant.
