The Atteridgeville Magistrate's Court in Pretoria has heard that a security guard has positively identified two suspects accused of shooting an Irish priest at the Leranong hospice.
Lesetsa Phahlane and Edward Lesufi were allegedly part of a group that attacked and shot Father Kieran Greagh in February last year. The robbers fled with a cell phone, a DVD player and an empty safe. The security guard, Victor Mogale, earlier testified the suspects had tied his hands in the guard room at the hospice on the night of the incident.
The case has been postponed until June 5. The suspects remain in custody.
