The fitness of advocate Pikoli to hold the office of national director is being reviewed

The Ginwala Commission of Inquiry into suspended NPA boss, Vusi Pikoli is taking place at the Council Chamber in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
Pikoli was suspended last year in September following a souring of relations between him and Justice Minister Bridgette Mabandla. The commission is headed by former speaker of Parliament, Frene Ginwala.
The terms of reference for the inquiry were released by the Presidency on October 3, 2007. .
The inquiry, which is required to report to the President, is akin to an internal requirement to review and advise the President on the fitness of advocate Pikoli to hold the office of national director.
