More than 100 immigrants nabbed in Pretoria

Police have recovered 13 stolen vehicles and apprehended more than 110 suspected illegal immigrants as part of an operation in the Mabopane and Garankuwa areas north of Pretoria.

Police spokesperson Captain Lydia Ditinti says police stopped about 850 vehicles in roadblocks and searched about 101 passengers.

Ditinti says four people have been arrested for dagga possession, two for rape and two others for theft. More than a 100 traffic tickets were also issued.
