Two arrested for Noord street taxi rank assault

Police arrest a man during a raid at a taxi rank

Two men, aged 32 and 43, were arrested in connection with the assault on a woman at the Noord street taxi rank over the weekend, Johannesburg police said today.

Captain Bhekizizwe Mavundla said the two men were arrested last night.

The two would be appearing before the Hillbrow Magistrate's Court today, on a charge of common assault, said Mavundla. - Sapa
