Brown has applied for leave to appeal a High Court ruling made in January
|
March 17, 2008, 10:45
The case of Fidentia boss, J Arthur Brown, has been postponed to May 2 in the Cape Town Regional court to allow the State to study affidavits submitted by the Fidentia legal team.
Brown is accused of defrauding loyalty card business, Infinity, of more than R5 million. The charges also relate to fraud of R4.5 million of a company that supplied equipment to mines in Zambia.
The trial is expected to start on September 15. Brown's R1 million bail has been extended.
