Mzamba residents in the Eastern Cape are meeting with the Community Policing Forum in the area on how they can help police apprehend any other suspects linked to the murder of 18 residents since October last year.
Seventeen of the 18 victims were allegedly raped, hacked and had their genitals removed. Women in this area say they will only stop living in fear when all the suspects have been arrested.
One of the residents, Nomvula Somgungqu, says she fails to understand why women are being targeted. The community says they are relieved though now that three suspects are in police custody.
