The case of a 19-year-old suspect arrested in connection with four of the 18 murders in the Mzamba area of the Eastern Cape has been postponed until next Wednesday.
The suspect made a brief appearance in the Bizana Magistrate's Court today. He faces four counts of murder, a charge of attempted murder and another charge of rape.
Police say after the man was arrested, they confiscated a hammer and a bush knife. His arrest follows the discovery of three more mutilated bodies over the past weekend.
