Police reinforcements have been sent to Mzamba to assist in the arrest of a serial killer
|
March 10, 2008, 05:30
Police reinforcements have been sent to Mzamba in the Eastern Cape, where a suspected serial killer is on the loose. This weekend three more bodies were found mutilated, which brings to 18 the number of people killed in the same way in the area since October 2007.
A special task team investigating the murders has now been given a boost with the inclusion of police officers from all over the province. Police are offering a R20 000 reward for anyone who can assist in the arrest of the culprit.
Meanwhile six of the 18 murdered women were from the same family. Most of the victims worked at the Wild Coast Casino.
