Stabbed pupil discharged from hospital

One of the victims from the Hoërskool Akasia in Tshwane, who was stabbed yesterday, has been discharged from the Pretoria Academic Hospital.

Wikus van der Merwe and his friend Wynand Botes were allegedly stabbed by three fellow pupils. Botes condition is meanwhile being monitored in hospital.

The three fellow pupils have been arrested on charges of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm. They have been released into their parents' custody.

Police found two knives in possession of two of those arrested.
