Two people have been shot dead and one seriously wounded outside the Kruger National Park's Phafuri Gate in Limpopo. Police say three people were travelling in a bakkie when rangers from the nearby Madimbo Corridor allegedly started shooting at them, accusing them of poaching in the park.
Two people died at the scene and one was admitted to the Musina Hospital. One of those killed is believed to be a manager at Tshikondeni Coal Mine.
Witnesses say the car in which the three were travelling in is riddled with bullets. Four suspects have been arrested.
