SACP calls for the arrest of poacher 'killers'

Limpopo SACP Deputy Secretary and MPL Jack Matlala has called for the immediate arrest of the killers of alleged poacher Ntsako Mkhari.

Matlala was speaking at the funeral of Mkhari at Prieska near Gravelotte outside Phalaborwa. Mkhari's body was found at a nearby farm some three months ago where he allegedly went poaching.

Matlala says now that the tests have proved that Mkhari has been killed, it is the duty of the police to arrest the killers. He says his party will hold protest marches if the police do not act swiftly.

The Phalaborwa magistrate court had earlier on released the two farmers suspected of killing Mkhari due to lack of evidence.
