New gun laws increases illegal firearms

Organizations like the Black Gun Owners Association say the new gun laws are increasing the number of illegal firearms because its members aren't being compensated for handing them in. They are either going to keep them illegally, or sell them illegally.

It's difficult to say what effect the new firearms legislation is having on the illegal economy, whether it's making guns more expensive because the demand has gone up, or cheaper because people are trying to get rid of them. What is clear is that there is no shortage on the black market.
