Former DA leader and outgoing Western Cape Premier Helen Zille will be referred to the party’s Federal Executive Council about her controversial “black privilege” tweet.
In the tweet, Helen Zille characterised this as being able to loot a country, steal billions of rands and still be re-elected to office.
Speaking at Parliament on Tuesday, DA leader Mmusi Maimane said steps have already been taken against Zille.
Democratic Alliance National spokesperson Solly Malatsi says, “The role of the federal legal commission now is to conduct an investigation to determine bridges of the party’s digital media policies.”
Well you clearly don’t understand black privilege. It is being able to loot a country and steal hundreds of billions and get re-elected. If ppl want permanent poverty for the masses they are going about it the right way. #BlackPrivilege
