Thousands of farmers in Lesotho marched to parliament on Friday protesting against a monopoly deal which forces mohair and wool farmers to sell exclusively to Chinese brokers.
Wool and mohair remain as the two most important exports of Lesotho and the new regulations regarding its sale are causing upset.
The deal which was signed in 2018 by the mountain kingdom government forces the 30 000 wool and mohair farmers to depend on Chinese brokers for their livelihoods.
