Wednesday Cabinet meeting postponed

The South African government has on Tuesday announced the postponement of the Cabinet meeting that was scheduled for this week.

The meeting was scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

The new date of the meeting will be communicated in due cause.

Communications Minister Kubayi-Ngubane says: “We are alive to the developments taking place in the African National Congress.”

“Government reassures South Africans that service delivery will not be impacted upon.”

Following the postponement of the SONA, President Jacob Zuma has had his public engagements reduced as the nation anxiously waits for a decision on his future.
