The storm will be accompanied by strong winds and possible heavy downpours.

Forecaster Mbali Maliyakhe says:
“At this current moment there’s a line of storm approaching the Vereening area so we are expecting a development over the southern parts of Gauteng with some possible strong winds.”
“We have already issued a warning for severe thunderstorms into southern parts of Mpumalanga.”
