We will remain positive for the last two games – Senong

Reading Time: 1 minute

South African men Under 20 coach Thabo Senong says his team will remain confident in the last two games at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Poland.

Amajita started their world cup campaign on a disappointing note after they lost 5-2 to Argentina on Saturday night. Amajita will take on South Korea in their second match on Tuesday.

South Africa is currently rock bottom in Group F with no points after one round of matches. Argentina are topping the group with three points on goal difference ahead of Portugal. Senong believes they can win last two matches against South Korea and Portugal.

Amajita goalkeeper Khulekani Kubheka is likely to start after he was taken off injured against Argentina.

Leo Thethani came on as a substitute against Argentina and made an immediate impact. He reflected back on that match.

The Ajax Amsterdam Jong (Youth) player, Thethani is also confident that they will get maximum points against South Korea and Portugal. – Report by Vincent Sitsula
