Former Vice President of Zimbabwe and incoming President Emmerson Mnangagwa has started addressing the crowd at the Zanu-PF headquarters in the capital Harare. Mnangagwa arrived in the country from South Africa earlier this evening.
Thousands of supporters are gathered outside the headquarters. He has been welcomed back with loud cheers. Mnangagwa will be sworn in on Friday to serve as interim President until next years elections. This after Robert Mugabe tendered his resignation as leader yesterday amidst immense pressure.
