Suspended Gauteng Mental Health Director, Dr Makgabo Manamela, who was supposed to face more questions as the Life Esidimeni arbitration hearings continue in Parktown, Johannesburg, is reportedly ill.
Manamela was subpoenaed to appear at the hearings to answer for her role in the deaths of 143 patients after refusing to testify voluntarily.
