The ANC Women’s League is honouring the late Winnie Madikizela-Mandela’s at Regina Mundi Catholic Church in Soweto, Johannesburg.
Mama Winnie who passed away last week at the age of 81 will be buried on Saturday at the Fourways memorial park, north of Johannesburg.
The ANCWL in KwaZulu-Natal has meanwhile called on all political parties to ensure gender balance in its national leadership structures in honour of Madikizela-Mandela’s Legacy.
The women’s structure held a media briefing on Monday in Durban to outline the plans to honour the late struggle icon in the province.
