The United Democratic Front (UDM) will be launching its election manifesto this weekend in Port Elizabeth.

UDM Deputy President Nqabayomzi Nkwankwa says the party’s President Bantu Holomisa will outline its strategy for job creation, reducing poverty and inequality in South Africa.

“We want to build a South Africa that has prosperity for South Africans… The different regions and provinces of the UDM are on their way to Wolfson Stadium tomorrow so that we can launch our manifesto in the afternoon,” says Nkwankwa.

Nkwankwa says the UDM wants to focus its campaign on specific regions and provinces where its growth potential is the greatest. He says the party hopes to double its number of seats in Parliament.

The UDM is calling upon the residents of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality to join the election manifesto launch.
