One of the two pupils who went missing last Thursday has been found dead at the railway station near the Bluff in Durban.

Police spokesperson Thembeka Mbhele says the two ten-year-olds did not return from Clairwood Primary School on Thursday afternoon and were reported missing on the following day. Mbhele says one of them was found murdered while the search for another one is still on-going.

She says two women have been charged with abduction, while a third suspect, a male, is being questioned by police.

“We are at the Brighton beach near the dam in Bluff where police officers are continuing with their search of another missing boy. Two boys were reported missing on Friday morning after the children did not return from school. After an intensive investigation one pupil was found dead across the local railway line, police search is on-going,” says Mbhele.
