Three suspects arrested in Limpopo for two separate cases related to elections will appear in court on Thursday.
Two suspects will appear at Giyani Magistrates Court for allegedly attacking an IEC team and taking voting material in Guwela in Dzumeri outside Giyani. The suspects were arrested on Monday.
In another case, the spokesperson for the Pro-Makhado Task Team Arnold Mulaudzi is expected to appear in court for contravening the Electoral Act.
IEC officials had just assisted a voter for special voting at home when they were accosted. The suspects allegedly further destroyed the voting material. They are facing charges of malicious damage to property and contravention the Electoral Act.
In Vuwani, a leader was arrested for alleged intimidation and contravening the Electoral Act.
